Install the App

- Press
Command+Space
and type Terminal and press enter/return key. - Run in Terminal app:

and press enter/return key.
If the screen prompts you to enter a password, please enter your Mac's user password to continue. When you type the password, it won't be displayed on screen, but the system would accept it. So just type your password and press ENTER/RETURN key. Then wait for the command to finish. - Run:
brew cask install wd-my-cloud
- Turn on your Mac and connect the WD easystore hard drive using a USB 3.0 cable. Once you have connected the hard drive successfully, click the Disk Utility icon located at the Dock. Alternatively, press the Command + Spacebar shortcut keys to open the Spotlight. Type “disk utility” in the search panel and hit the Enter key to open the Disk Utility window.
